ENLIGHTENED, INC. WINS CONTRACT WITH COURT SERVICES & OFFENDER SUPERVISION AGENCY (CSOSA)
Enlightened To Enhance Smart Offender Tracking Computer System

WASHINGTON (SEPTEMBER 27): Enlightened, an INC. 500 and Inner City 100 company, announced today it has received a contract from the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA) to operate and enhance their SMART system. CSOSA is a federal agency responsible for pretrial services and parole, probation, and supervised release of offenders in the District of Columbia. SMART is the offender tracking computer system central to their activities.

CSOSA interacts with 13 other law agencies within DC, all with different computer and database systems. Enlightened is tasked with operating and maintaining SMART version 3.1, deploying version 3.2 and with making the different systems work with each other.

“Our team has devised a way to update all systems immediately, giving the criminal justice users information just in time,” said Andre Rogers, Enlightened’s Vice President. “This is critically important to criminal justice officials responsible with helping safeguard our communities.”
