ENLIGHTENED BECOMES A NATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR TEACHING ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHAMPION

WASHINGTON (MAY 19): Enlightened, Inc., an Inner City 100 and INC. 500 company, is pleased to announce its support of the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) of Greater Washington, DC. NFTE – Greater Washington teaches thousands of area youth to become economically productive members of society by improving their academic, business, and life skills. Nationally, NFTE has reached over 120,000 youth and trained more than 3,700 teachers and youth workers. Since its inception in 1994, NFTE-Greater Washington has served more than 10,000 youth in this area.

As a NFTE Champion, Enlightened proudly raised $10,000 for the foundation. As part of Enlightened’s ongoing community outreach, Enlightened will mentor local, NFTE at-risk youths interested in the area of entrepreneurship with a special focus on marketing and information technology through its internship programs.
