Integrated Justice Services
In today’s world information sharing throughout the criminal justice community is critical to combating criminal activities and safeguarding the public. Enlightened’s integrated justice services help our clients overcome technical, political, and security barriers to information sharing across multiple Federal, state, and/or local agencies.
Our Capabilities
- Standards based Integration using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to Connect Disparate Systems Across Multiple Jurisdictions
As there are multiple disparate systems within a criminal justice jurisdiction, the complexity to share and communicate information is paramount. Enlightened SOA approach is based on extraction of reusable components called “services” from different criminal justice IT systems. The services become the building blocks for the over all Enterprise SOA solution. Our SOA governance methodology resolves the complexity of standards, processes, roles, policies, contracts, best practices and procedures associated with SOA adoption.
- Case Management Systems Integration With National and Local Initiatives for Information Sharing
As information is shared locally within the integrated system, the natural next level of progression is to share information regionally and nationally. Enlightened’s standards based approach to integration makes case management system integration with different initiatives completely seamless. The agile development processes produces extremely cost effective quality solutions in least amount of time.
- Integrated Query/Search Portal Development
Enlightened’s solution provides a Web-based, state-of-the-art, full-text search query and response application that enables an agency to look up criminal justice information across different agency systems, all at the click of the mouse within milliseconds. Enlightened’s solution utilizes the industry best FAST Enterprise Search Platform.
- Architectural Guidance for Data Exchange, Collaboration, and Messaging among Jurisdictions
Enlightened’s data exchange solution is implemented on an enterprise level Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) supporting federated security model. The solution utilizing Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) enables agencies to exchange documents, data, and information electronically and transparently in a standard created by the Department of Justice (DOJ) called NIEM (National Information Exchange Model) / GJXDM (Global Justice XML Data Model). Enlightened’s award winning solution provides an infrastructure for routing, transformation, and guaranteed delivery of information across the integrated system with complete capability for criminal justice business process automation.
